Our Studio Policies

Please review our studio policies before registering for classes. Registration confirms your understanding and acceptance of these policies.

Registration & Enrollment

An annual registration fee of $49 will be collected at the time of registration.
Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each student may take one free trial class in any style that matches their age range. After the trial class, a final decision regarding enrollment must be made.
Classes will be closed to further enrollment once maximum capacity is reached.
The initial monthly tuition payment will be collected at the time of registration.

Registration fees and tuition payments are non-refundable.
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month.
A $25 late fee will be assessed if payment is not received by the 10th of the month.
There is no pro-rating or refund for missed classes.
Payments may be made by Zelle, cash, check, or credit card.
Credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee.
Zelle payments may be sent to billing@mjsdanceli.com .
There is a $50 fee for returned checks.

If withdrawing from classes, a drop request form must be completed prior to your upcoming tuition payment.
No pro-rating or refunds will be issued as a result of withdrawing from classes.
Tuition already paid is non-refundable.
All costume purchases are non-refundable.

Competition fees are paid directly to the event and are non-refundable, as they are considered the dancer’s ticket to participate in the event.
An administrative fee of $50 per dancer will be applied when releasing a dancer’s name from participation in future conventions and/or competitions.
Any scholarship award won by a dancer registered under MJ’s House of Dance is considered property of the studio. If a dancer chooses to leave the competitive training program, the scholarship will remain with MJ’s House of Dance and may not be transferred to or used by the departing dancer.
Competition Team members should refer to their Company Contract for additional team requirements, fees, and policies.
Competition Team pricing and family discounts are available by inquiry.
