With more than 25 years of teaching experience, Jessica “MJ” Kubat is a nationally recognized, award-winning choreographer and one of the most respected voices in the dance community. She began her dance journey as a toddler, quickly discovering a lifelong passion that has driven her to perfect her craft for decades.
MJ has trained with some of the industry’s most celebrated artists and continues to push creative boundaries with her innovative choreography, visionary concepts, and unmatched teaching techniques. Her work has earned top honors at both regional and national levels, with her dancers consistently recognized for their technical excellence and artistry.
As the owner and founder of MJ’s, she is dedicated to providing each dancer with exceptional training, personal attention, and the inspiration to reach their fullest potential — both on and off the stage.

Toni is thrilled to join the team at MJ’s House of Dance. Professional dance credits include “Zebby’s Zoo” and “Jam TV”. Toni has been teaching dance and choreographing for over 20 years. Her students and choreography have won numerous special, high score, title, and choreography awards including the Dance Educator’s of America’s prestigious “President’s Cup”. She is also a long time member of DEA.
In addition to her dance teaching credits Toni is also an experienced theater teacher and has worked as resident choreographer for multiple theater companies across Long Island.
Toni prides herself on creating a safe space where young performers can learn proper technique while building their confidence and making memories that will last a lifetime.

Meg Krueger is overjoyed to join the staff at MJ's House of Dance! Meg has pursued her passion for dance since the age of three. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) from Adelphi University in Dance Performance. During that time she had the privilege of working with artists such as Doug Varone, Aszure Barton and Leda Meredith. After college Meg performed with Roschman Dance and UnderToe Dance Project. She is also a member of Dance Educators of America and has received numerous choreography awards. Meg has guided her students to become Title and high score winners.
Meg has also introduced her students to concert-based performances such as Jennifer Muller HATCH Performance Series, Fertile Ground Series-Green Space and Biomorphic Dance Festival. Her biggest accomplishment is creating an atmosphere where her students can thrive in becoming the best version of themselves.

Abigail Concannon was born in East Islip, New York, and began her dance training at the age of two at Lori’s School of Dance. She danced competitively until the age of thirteen. Abby joined the Eglevsky Ballet, to focus full-time on ballet training. In 2015, she was accepted into the School of American Ballet, in New York City, for the fall term. Abby spent her summers training with the Boston Ballet, Miami City Ballet, and Oregon Ballet Theatre. In 2019, she graduated from the School of American Ballet and joined Oregon Ballet Theatre’s Second Company. Abby joined OBT as a Company Artist for the 2021-2022 season, and joined the faculty at Oregon Ballet Theatre’s School. Later joining the Nevada Ballet Theatre for the 2022-2023 season. Abigail retired from dancing herself andnow teaches ballet on Long Island at schools including Eglevsky Ballet and MJ’s House of Dance.

Victoria is a 19 year-old dancer and choreographer who trained on Long Island. She has been dancing since the age of 3, and danced competitively since she was 12 years old. Victoria has been trained in multiple styles of dance like ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, modern, and hip hop. She began student teaching when she was 13, and has been teaching since she 15. Victoria had the opportunity to dance with the beautiful program, DDI (Developmental Disabilities Institute), in which she danced with adults with disabilities.
Victoria’s goal as a dance teacher is to create a fun and comfortable space for the dancers and to be constantly growing and trying new things!

Katie Plitt is a college student dancing on the Dance Company at Sacred Heart University, where she pursues her love for dance and receives unforgettable opportunities like dancing in Italy! She has been a dancer since she was 3 years old and danced competitively for 7 years. She is a former Senior Elite MJ’s House of Dance Company member, which opened her eyes to the possibilities in the dance world. She now embraces her childhood dream to be a dance teacher and choreographer, and makes sure to instill confidence in her students. She values creativity and pushing dancers beyond their comfort zone. Katie’s styles range from contemporary, lyrical, jazz, tap, musical theatre and hip-hop.

Trevor Mazzei is a New York based dancer, choreographer, and educator who has trained at Broadway Dance Center under established choreographers such as Kenichi Kasamatsu, Alex Mitchell, and Blake McGrath. Some of his credits include Theresa Stone’s ABTrain and KC Castellano’s Project Create choreography showcase. He was also an executive board member and choreographer for the University of Connecticut Dance Company, where he played a role in creating pieces and organizing showcases each semester. Passionate about teaching, Trevor strives to foster a safe environment where dancers can grow while embracing their individuality. He blends technicality with artistry in hopes to inspire the next generation of artists.

Aydin is a professional dancer based in Long Island New York with training in many styles with a strong foundation in contemporary/hip-hop. Aydin has had the opportunity to work a variety of jobs including, back up dancing at the Macy’s day parade for Kim Petras, News 12, and Music video work for Izzy Gilden and Frankie Zulferino directed by Lane Napper and Theresa Stone respectively. He hopes to create a class environment where everyone can achieve personal growth, while having fun doing what they love.
